Movie Music International “The most memorable thing about the film is the score, which is the work of composer Marcel Barsotti, it’s a fairly low-key work, which does at times perk up and become upbeat and rhythmic, the composer employing sporadically ethnic sounding instrumentation from Africa, for the most part it is an emotive and beautifully written soundtrack, with soft nuances and gracious interludes that contain haunting and melancholy material that is a rewarding listen. At times I was reminded of the style that Thomas Newman creates, subtle but at the same time highly attractive and mesmerizing. The composer utilises strings, solo violin, woodwind, guitar, percussive elements, some brass and piano to purvey an air of carefree and romantically laced tone poems that are effective as well as being entertaining as just music. I recommend that you check this out on all digital platforms now.”
